Roger Gilbert, the publisher of both Milling and Grain and International Aquafeed magazines took the opportunity, while attending last week’s dsm-firmenich’s 2026 dsm-firmenich Aqua Partner Days – which included visits to the company’s production facilities and research laboratories in France, Switzerland and Austria – to learn more about Sustell, an industry sustainability platform for the livestock industry, including the aqua industry, and which is funded by dsm-firmenich.
Here he interviews Paulo Alarcon, the feed technology manager for Vitapro SA in Chile about his company’s experience using Sustell over the past six years. Mr Alarcon was among the group of industry representatives from Latin America and Asia and who has responsibilities within his feed company for nutrition, quality control and research and development. He talks to Mr Gilbert about the significant advantages those using the company’s feeds accrue.
