Noel Bonnick, from Aqua Farm Solutions, talks to Roger Gilbert, Publisher of International Aquafeed magazine, regarding the drive by his company and what services they provide to the industry at this year’s World Aquaculture Society’s meeting in Darwin, Australia in the last week of May 2023.
Aqua Farm solutions looks at client’s equipment, and how best to maintain the value of it, and make sure it delivers according to the business plan. The core of their business is maintenance management and spare parts, as it looks at how that equipment is managed during the lifespan of the asset, from the day it is purchased to the day it is disposed of. Mr Bonnick says the industry, regardless of the farming method being used, is looking to adopt more sophisticated equipment. It’s a trend driven by the increased interest in environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.
