Cargill’s aquafeed operations in Canada have become the first in the country to earn certification under the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Feed Standard.
Building on this achievement, the company plans to certify its aquafeed operations in Norway and Chile by early 2025, with additional certifications slated for Scotland, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Indonesia, and Vietnam by October 2025. These efforts aim to maintain Cargill’s position as a global leader in sustainable feed solutions and support ASC-certified farms in meeting their compliance deadlines.
The certification process involved meeting ESG requirements, conducting supply chain mapping, and undergoing an audit.
