Benchmark Genetics has announced the hiring of two new key team members at its Bergen, Norway headquarters. Viktorija Dorfan joins as Group Reporting Manager in the Finance department, while Mette Remø assumes the role of Senior Legal Counsel/Attorney-at-Law.
Dorfan boasts over ten years of experience in financial reporting and assurance, having worked with major corporations while at KPMG in San Diego and Silicon Valley. She holds an MSc in Accountancy and Financial Reporting from San Diego State University. At Benchmark Genetics, she will focus on delivering clear, consistent financial reporting to enhance transparency.
Mette Remø, with a law degree from the University of Bergen, previously served as Director/Attorney-at-Law at KPMG Law, advising the aquaculture industry on corporate and tax law. She has significant experience in public administration, having held senior roles at the Norwegian Food Safety Authority and the Directorate of Fisheries.
Both new hires will report to Jon Crowther, CFO of Benchmark Genetics.
