Indo Fisheries 2026 Casts a Wider Net for Industry Growth

Indonesia’s fisheries and aquaculture sector will take centre stage this June as Indo Fisheries 2026 Expo & Forum returns with a strong focus on innovation, investment and industry collaboration. The 16th edition of the event will be held from June 16–18, 2026, at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, Tangerang.
The expo, which will coincide with Indo Livestock, Indo Feed, Indo Dairy, Indo Agrotech, and Indo Vet 2026, is anticipated to draw some 20,000 trade visitors and include 600 exhibitors from 30 countries, including seven international pavilions.

Indo Fisheries 2026, organised by PT Napindo Media Ashatama (Napindo), brings together government officials, business executives, investors, academics, and technology suppliers on a single cooperative platform with the goal of strengthening Indonesia’s fisheries and aquaculture ecosystem.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Napindo Project Director Lisa Rusli highlighted the event’s role as more than just a product showcase. “Indo Fisheries serves as a strategic platform for expanding business networks, creating investment opportunities and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and innovation needed to address the industry’s evolving challenges and opportunities,” she said.

The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia supports the expo because it sees it as a crucial instrument for marketing the nation’s fisheries goods and increasing market access. Machmud, Acting Director General of Marine and Fisheries Product Competitiveness, stated in a written statement that cooperation and innovation are more crucial than ever due to the rising demand for sustainable, high-quality, and safe seafood products worldwide.

Enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesian fisheries products while bolstering the country’s standing as one of the top fisheries producers in the world is a major goal of Indo Fisheries 2026. In order to increase productivity and worldwide competitiveness, Minapoli, a strategic partner, also underlined the significance of collaboration between business, government, academia, and technology suppliers.

In order to promote business networking and knowledge sharing, visitors may anticipate a comprehensive program that includes the Fisheries Buyers Program, Fisheries Seminar, and Fisheries Stage. The most recent developments in aquaculture technology, feed manufacturing, fish health, cold storage, and seafood processing will also be on display.

Under the theme “Balanced Nutrition for Golden Generation,” Indo Fisheries 2026 will hold live seafood culinary demos and the SDTI (Milk, Meat, Eggs and Fish) understanding Program to raise public understanding of nutrition.
With the backing of fifty ministries, associations, institutions, and universities, as well as exhibitors from the US, Australia, China, Germany, France, Canada, South Korea, and Vietnam, Indo Fisheries 2026 is expected to be a significant driver of investment, innovation, and long-term expansion in Indonesia’s fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
