VIV Select China 2026 will take place from August 19–21 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC), bringing together livestock producers, technology providers, industry experts and buyers from across China and international markets. The expo, themed “Connecting the Globe, Building a One-Stop Livestock Trade Platform,” would occupy between 48,000 and 50,000 square meters and feature more than 500 exhibitors, with an estimated 18,000 professional visitors. The event’s relocation to Shanghai is a significant breakthrough for the international livestock trade fair, enhancing its access to one of Asia’s key commercial and agricultural markets.
VIV Select China will prioritise multispecies livestock production, with a focus on poultry, ducks, and swine, in addition to general animal husbandry requirements. Visitors will get the opportunity to learn about technologies and services that aim to improve productivity, animal health, farm efficiency, and biosecurity.
The exhibition will focus on animal health and nutrition, including vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and specialised feed additives; farm production technology, such as modern housing, climate-control systems, and automated feeding equipment; and biosecurity solutions, which will cover disease prevention, sanitation, and farm safety.
The 2026 edition will also provide a considerable cross-sector opportunity by co-locating with Pet Fair Asia. VIV Select China will take place from August 19 to 21, while the 28th Pet Fair Asia will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) till August 23. The two events will be connected by free shuttle buses, establishing a link between upstream livestock production, animal health, and the downstream pet sector.
Along with the exhibition, guests can take part in international forums, technical seminars, and networking events. The program will include topics such as poultry innovation and animal disease prevention, while matchmaking activities and guided tours will assist international suppliers in connecting with Asian buyers and potential business partners.
Milling and Grain will be at VIV Select China 2026. Visitors are invited to meet the team at Booth H2-D2826, learn more about the publication and its coverage of the global milling, feed, and grain sectors, interact with the team, and receive free complimentary copies of the most recent edition.
With its comprehensive industry coverage, international participation, and strategic cooperation with Pet Fair Asia, VIV Select China 2026 is poised to be a significant venue for organisations looking for new technologies, partnerships, and possibilities in Asia’s developing livestock sector.
