Selenium improves feed efficiency, growth, performance and immunity in shrimp, a topic he says was of particular interest to those attending his presentation as it’s a relatively new product to the business. Within the global shrimp feed industry more attention is now being paid to what is in the ingredients being used, and trials with Selenium have been positive all round.
