Mat-Kuling is set to introduce its latest Drum Filter 1600-6-C-PP at AquaNor 2025, to be held from August 19 to 21 at Trondheim, Norway.
This advanced and complete equipment features a channel-type design and polypropylene (PP) body. It includes their new patent-pending TriA Filter panels.
Additionally, Aquaculture Team Leader for Mat-Kuling, Vit Wolf Profant, told International Aquafeed, “You will be able to see a new degassing tower (model 900V), a very large vacuum-type.”
He also mentioned AI while discussing Degassing solutions and innovations in the field, and said that in another 10 years, “It would be the main, main factor in running fish farms.”
He explained that degassing solutions can be expensive, especially in relation to power consumption. “So, if the product can get real data and adjust some flows and water-air ratios, make it more cost efficient…if we can ensure that we will have in the fish tank always maximum 10 milligrams per litre or 12, and we will not have a fluctuation based on the the different parameters but have a stable 10, this can be a game changer in the industry,” he said.
Other products that Mat-Kuling will display at Aquanor are screen panels, Oxygen and Ozone cabinets.
Readers can pay Mat-Kuling a visit at booth number A-106, Hall A at the event.
