Tidal, a technology company focused on aquaculture, has expanded its team in Norway with the appointment of Kristine Langaunet as Senior Sales Executive. Langaunet joins the company from BioMar, where she most recently served as Head of Product Marketing for Salmon.
Tidal, which recently established operations in Norway, appointed Anders Fossøy, former Commercial Director at Aquabyte, to lead its expansion efforts. Langaunet’s hiring follows this move and adds further expertise to the team.

“I am excited to join Tidal and bring my industry experience to the team,” said Langaunet. “My focus will be on building long-term customer relationships and driving growth in Norway’s aquaculture industry, working closely with Tidal’s technology team.”
Based in Trondheim, Langaunet will support Tidal’s efforts to help fish farmers achieve sustainable growth. Fossøy expressed confidence in her addition, noting her industry insights and expertise as valuable assets to the team.
Tidal, which was spun out of Google’s parent company Alphabet’s moonshot factory earlier this year, is backed by investors including Ichthus Venture Capital and Kverva. The company aims to provide AI-based tools to enhance sustainability and efficiency in aquaculture.
With growing customer interest and new developments on the horizon, Tidal continues to build its presence in the aquaculture sector.
