At the Aquaculture Europe 2025 congress in Valencia, Spain, miXscience unveiled its latest product, Valopro Fit, aimed at enhancing fish resilience under nutritional stress. R&D manager Stéphane Frouel highlighted the efficacy of this innovative solution, which is composed of plant-based ingredients.
Recent studies showed that using Valopro Fit alongside suboptimal feed—characterised by a significant reduction in marine ingredients—yielded performance levels comparable to optimal feed. This approach not only benefits individual fish but also enhances overall production systems and environmental sustainability, the company notes.
It added that Valopro Fit functions as a sustainable digestive aid, providing advantages like increased fish resistance, preservation of gut integrity, enhanced nutrient digestibility and transport, improved feed efficiency, and maintenance of growth performance.
The event also marked the official launch of this new product, accompanied by a specific approach to matrix valorisation.
