Vónin Aquaculture, Mørenot Aquaculture and Fiizk Protection, all fully owned by the Icelandic Hampidjan Group, have been merged under a new aquaculture brand, ELDI.
The consolidation combines the three companies’ product portfolios, service networks and research and development capabilities, strengthening Hampidjan’s position in a consolidating global aquaculture market.
Thomas Myrvold, CEO of Mørenot Aquaculture, has been appointed CEO of ELDI.
The transition will take full effect on 1 January 2026. Collaboration across the three organizations has already begun.

ELDI will offer an integrated product line across protection, equipment and aquaculture technology, supported by a global network of service stations. The company said the new organization will accelerate research and development in areas such as automation, digital tools and advanced farming systems.
Hjörtur Erlendsson, CEO of Hampidjan and Chairman of ELDI, said the merger is intended to position the group for continued industry growth.
