Aquaculture technology company Aquabyte has announced two senior sales appointments aimed at supporting international growth. Kamilla Svindseth has been promoted to Head of Sales – North Atlantic, while Åsmund Håvik has joined the company as Head of Sales – Norway.
In her new role, Svindseth will be responsible for driving growth across Northern European markets outside Norway, including Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Scotland and Ireland. She has played a key role in the company’s commercial development in recent years and will now focus on expanding the company’s presence across the wider North Atlantic region.
Håvik joins Aquabyte with extensive experience from the aquaculture industry. His background includes senior roles at Steinsvik and ScaleAQ, where he most recently served as Sales Director – Norway. At the Bergen-based, he will lead sales activities in the company’s largest market.
Commenting on the appointments, Thomas Fekete Rønningen, Chief Commercial Officer at Aquabyte, said the strengthened sales organisation would support the company’s continued expansion in 2026 and beyond.
Both Svindseth and Håvik will be based at the company’s headquarters in Bergen, Norway.
Aquabyte provides camera-based monitoring systems for sea- and land-based aquaculture, using artificial intelligence and machine learning to deliver data on fish growth, welfare, behaviour and lice levels, alongside decision-support and feeding tools.
